How it works

0 to 10 minutes
A short chat
We ask what you’ve noticed, about your general health and about anything that worries you.

10 to 30 minutes
The hearing test
You listen to tones and words through headphones and press a button each time you hear something.

30 to 40 minutes
Your results
We show you your results on screen, explain what they mean and give you a copy.

40 to 45 minutes
Next steps
We talk about what to do next, if anything. You don’t have to decide anything on the day.

If you’re not sure you need a full test, come in for a free 15-minute check on a weekday first.
Bring someone
It helps to have someone you know with you during the test, and they can help you remember what we talked about.
